technically speaking korean time and MNL time today is RAIN's bday but since he's in LA so he'll be celebrating his bday a little bit later. i was just wondering what is he doing right now? how's he going to celebrate this special day? there were rumors that SHK would be arriving in US. him in LA and SHK would be in different state and i guess that other state would just take one of them an hour drive. maybe they have plans if they do well good for them at leat ji hoon would be very happy and would have an inspiration for his upcoming concert.
the big question in my mind right now is how this guy celebrate his birthday away from his country?
last night since i was really thinking about this day... i can't help myself but to celebrate jihoon's birthday. i bought max's fried chicken, kare- kare and crispy pata of course i really didn't tell my family why i bought so much food. then i watched his rainy day concert. i was trying to memorized some of his dance moves. luckily i did but i just wanted to tell you guys i'm really not that good in dancing. :)
you might be asking when was the first time that i recognized this guy? hmm... of course in his drama series FULL HOUSE. this korean drama was a great hit here in the phils and as well as in some Asian countries. then it was followed by another kdrama A LOVE TO KILL i'm not really sure if this was a big hit but he showed his flexibility in acting. a different Ji hoon. but his first kdrama was not air here in the phils. called SANGDOO LET's GO BACK TO SCHOOL. this kdrama was really a heartwarming and it can make you cry a bucket. eventhough i watched that kdrama several times i can't help but cry. and yes a different Ji hoon.

in 2005 he first had his major concert in Seoul RAINY DAY. this concert was first to target the Asian countries inclluding Japan, Taiwan and others. as he continue his journey he was able to released his 4th album which was such a big hit. he was able to charmed fans not just in asia but also all over the world including the US and Australia. just last year he started his 2nd major concert with Star M RAIN's WORLD TOUR and will end by this year.
everyone got worried because he already ended his contract in JYPE last may 10. everybody thought that he's going to renew his contract but its the other was around. this was confirmed by mr. park that rain will not renew his contract with the company and because of that many companies offered rain their service as well as the STAR M but as of now he will work independently and will announced thru a written letter by JI HOON regarding this matter by 19th of july.
just recently he was recognized as Overseas Popularity Award for the 44th Daejong Film Awards for his movie I'm a Cyborg but that's ok. this korean movie was recognized in Berlin Festival and would be shown in New York. by the end of this month he will fly to berlin for his movie SPEEDRACER. he was chosen to be one of the casts. he'll be staying there for two months. he came earlier in berlin to practice for the stunts because he's not going to do double and also hired 24 hour english tutor.
